Or Shalom – Your Jewish home in London, Ontario
Services are traditional, egalitarian, and lay-led. We welcome the participation of all our members in whatever capacity they feel comfortable, including leading services, chanting a Haftarah, or receiving an aliyah.
Our Shabbat services begin at 9:30 a.m. Shabbat services include a Junior Congregation program for children ages 6 to 12, held in the library from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Junior Congregation leads the service in the sanctuary from Ein Keiloheinu to the end of the service. From time to time, there is a Tot Shabbat program starting at 10 am in the Social Hall for families with children ages 5-0 years of age.
Morning minyan is held on Sundays at 9:15 a.m in the sanctuary.
Covid policy at Or Shalom:
Masks are now optional at Or Shalom. At services, at least one section of seating will be reserved for people wearing masks. If you are not wearing a mask, please sit within the other areas of our beautiful sanctuary. Proof of vaccination remains required for everyone age 12 and older.
